A picture of something you wish you could forget
Watching our puppy Ollie pass away :(
Watching Ollie die was horrible. The day before he died, we found out he had Parvo. He was too far gone at that point to save him, we just had to let him go. That night was horrible, I could barely sleep. I kept going down to the garage to check on him. That next morning, I could tell it was just about time. He was barely moving and his breathing was very irregular. So I just sat there with him, petting him and telling him how much the girls and I loved him, all while I was balling my eyes out. After 10 minutes he took his last breath and was gone. I cried for days. Ollie was one of the best puppies we have ever had, and the girls were in LOVE with him. I couldn't tell the girls that he died so I had to come up with a story about Ollie leaving to go back with him mommy. We still miss Ollie horribly.
