Needless to say, my life has been crazy and stressful the past few days!
Since Jimmy has been off training in California, my girls have turned into a whole different breed. They seem to have turned into some wild animals. This is totally normal though. When Daddy's home, we have sweet, loving daughters. When Jimmy's gone some kind of switch goes off in their heads and they turn into animals. They know I'm a push over and at times I'm filled with empty threats, so needless to say they take full advantage of it.
I love my kids to death, but these past few weeks have been HELL. Don't let their "sweet, innocent" faces fool you, they have been Satans spawns lately!!
It's constant GO GO GO, all day! One kids is getting into something in the refrigerator(the child safe locks are a joke to my kids), the other in the living room going through movies and throwing them around, while the other took a mattress and is trying to slide down the stairs like their sleigh riding, ALL at the SAME time!!! True Story! This happens ALL day, almost every day!
Paisley is the only child of mine that naps. Ella and Audri are constantly on the go, except for when Audrianna is in school, which is only for 3 1/2 hours a day!! Can't wait for all day kindergarten next year LOL
This is why I changed my mind on having another baby soon. It will be another few years before we decide, if we decide!
Anyway.
Can I just say how EXCITED I am for Jimmy and I's vacation?!!
This is going to be so good for us! A great refresher for me, and a nice relaxing time for Jimmy before he goes back to "Hell" aka Afghanistan.
We are leaving a day early and spending the night in Miami, I am sooo excited!! I get to see "Uncle Kenny" he's a family friend of ours who I haven't seen in years, who now lives in Miami!!!
We set sail the following evening!! I switched our cruise from Royal Caribbean to Carnival!
Carnival was a lot cheaper, and this one is going to the place i've always wanted to go to...Grand Turk(Turks&Caicos)!!
We will be going to:
Half Moon Cay Bahamas
St. Thomas USVI
San Juan Puerto Rico-
I'm really excited about PR-My Uncle Harry and Aunt Sylvia own a house there, and my Aunt is currently there, so were hoping we can meet up with her while were there!!
Grand Turk(Turks&Caicos)!!!
We have a lot of excursions and relaxation planned for this trip!!
This trip has cost us a very pretty penny BUT its so worth it! Jimmy and I have only spent three months together since January of last year and even before that it was constant coming and going because he was on all his work ups for that last deployment.
Jimmy and I have a very special bond, no matter how long we spend apart we always have that same connection. This is just going to make it so much better!
This is also a "pre-5 year wedding Anniversary" trip. Jimmy and I have only spent/celebrated ONE anniversary together. So this will be a nice celebration for us!
We have a balcony room so I see us spending lots of time on that balcony while were at sea!!
The countdown is on!!
23 days until were in Miami!!
24 days until were cruising!!!
Of course there will be A LOT of photos after our trip!!
After we return home from our trip we don't have much time together before he leaves again. Since he's so important to this platoon he has, since it is his platoon he is always working. His phone never stops ringing(he has a lot of dramatic kids in his platoon, who always have some kind of "issue" or some higher up needs him) So I know time will be very limited during those last very few short weeks together. We plan on doing a lot of activities with the girls so they can spend all the time he can with them.
Were praying that while on this deployment he can get orders to Quantico. Their currently trying to get him in there, so fingers crossed that when he returns we'll be getting ready to move!! There is a specific job he wants there, so it might take a few months to get him in, but like I said, their working on it!!
It would be awesome to only be 5 hours away from my parents!!!
That's about it for now!!

You are such a strong woman! You give my hope that I will make it through Scott's deployment. I really hope that you and Jimmy have a great time on the cruise!! You guys deserve it! The best part of a cruise is being "unplugged" for a week to spend quality time with your husband.
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine those sweet little girls being complete terrors behind closed doors. I was the same way when I was little.
I will pray that Jimmy get the job he wants a Quantico. Although, I selfishly want your photographic abilities to stay in Jacksonville.
Your trip sounds amazing! Its right around the corner!!
