Whew!!

What a CRAZY few couple days it has been for me!
So glad were almost done with this weekend and on to a new week!

Yesterday was a good/bad/scary/annoying & so glad its over kind of day! I took the girls to the beach earlier in the day. It was kind of heartbreaking when we first pulled up there, because there was some battle ships out in the ocean, and as soon as Audrianna saw them she screamed, "OMG! My Daddys home, we're getting Daddy!" and of course Ella was repeating the same thing Audri said. It was a bit disappointing for them.
Daddy will be home sooo soon , thank god!

It was nice and enjoyable while we were at the beach, but leaving was another story! All I can say is, you try getting three kids to the car. One of which can't walk yet, one that walks too fast and the other who walks too slow. All while i'm carrying an umbrella, and all our beach gear. It gets a little crazy! So after I finally get all three girls loaded in the car, we went home!
Heres a few photos of the girls from the beach:Paisley loves sand...no matter how hard I try, I cant get her to not eat it!

Not too long after we got home the sky started turning black, and the thunder and lightning started. We haven't had any really good storms yet this year, so I was thinking it was nothing and would be just like the past couple of storms we had. Well I thought wrong. The rain came pouring down! The thunder shook our house and it seemed as if the lightning was coming right through the house! Not even 5 minutes after it started raining the road in front of my house was starting to flood, after 10 minutes the water was calf deep!
It was bad! It only got worse too! A bolt of lightning hit a telephone phone on my road and knocked out our electricity, and minutes later I started to hear what sounded like a whistling noise. Jimmy is from Oklahoma, and has gone through many tornadoes, and has told me a lot of things to look out for just in case we ever get one. Well I clearly remember him telling me that when a tornado is close, you hear a whistling train noise. So I booked it to the hallway bathroom (theres no basements in this part of NC!) with the girls in tow. Audrianna was already freaked out and so was Ella. Forgot to mention, Ella pooped her pants she was so scared! The thunder was so loud, she jumped so high and screamed "uh oh", clenched her knees together, and yea, it literally "scared the crap out of her" HAHA Cant wait to tell Daddy that one! lol The wind got really bad, it sounded like something was pounding on the side of my house. The girls and I stayed in the bathroom was about a half hour! After the storm passed, our electricity was still out! So I went outside and talked to some neighbors and the people across from me said they watched a funnel cloud form over my house!! For those of you who dont know what that is, its the crazy swirly cloud that comes down out of the sky to form a tornado!! I am soo glad I went into that bathroom, just in case the thing would have come down on my house!! There were several funnel clouds spotted through our area during last nights storm! I am soo happy that thing didnt come down!
This is some of the girls in the bathroom:
(can you tell Audri was scared?) lol

(My poor baby was terrified)

Well besides all that, theres really nothing else going on. Jimmys at his first liberty port, on a paradise Island, this place make Hawaii look disgusting!! Im a HATER!! Not much longer and he will be home to us!! Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend and have a fabulous week!
