A picture of something that your afraid of
Having Marines in full dress blue uniform show up at my door.
(There is usually a Chaplain with them)
Don't think i'm being morbid or anything, this is my worst nightmare, and at the moment is one of the biggest things I am scared of, seeing Jimmy is deploying again VERY soon :(
When a Marine or Soldier gets KIA, this is what shows up at your door(or if their Army, they'll be in their dress uniform)
Jimmy has made it home from deployment safe four times, but that doesn't mean anything. I'm sure every Military Wife I know who has had their husband deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan can tell you that every little noise you hear outside your house has you on edge. God forbid I hear a car door slam, my heart sinks.
Everyone here knows that when a Black Government vehicle with Marines and a Chaplin in full dress uniform pull up to someones house, its not good. Sadly, I have witnessed NUMEROUS wives get that dreaded knock on their door...it's HORRIBLE, I cry for hours when I see it :( ! Once I seen two women in one week on my same street get that knock on their door.:(
I pray that I never have to watch Marines like in the above photo walk up to my door...
