We weren't expecting Jimmy to leave until some time late today, but for all who knows the Marine Corps, its all hurry up and wait. We found out Monday morning that Jimmy was deploying that night. So we spent the rest of the day at the park playing and at the beach searching for shark teeth!
She loves her daddy so much
My best friend!

It's a family effort!
Our family!
We had a very long night last night. We had to be at Jimmy's unit at midnight to draw weapons, and then he was supposed to be on the bus and on his way by 3am. Well after a long(but amazing last few hours with Jimmy) Jimmy got on the bus at 4am and left by 410am.
Audrianna and Ella handled it very well. They kept telling him "Be safe Daddy, come home soon, I love you" they said it while he was saying "see you soon" to them and while he was on the bus. Paisley had a harder time. She had just fallen asleep when it was time for him to get on the bus. He didn't want to wake her but decided to give her a kiss, well that woke her up and all she wanted was him. He didn't have time to take her out and hold her, so he gave her a hug and kiss and was on his way. That broke her heart. She started crying for daddy, arms out and all. She doesn't understand and we don't expect her to, she only 18 months.
I did great. I didn't cry. My eyes were swelled up with tears but not one tear rolled out. I almost lost it a few times but I kept my cool. The moment the girls were waving and yelling to their daddy and the moment the buses pulled away were the hardest.
Typing this out and looking through the pictures is making it very tough on me, and im not going to lie, I just shed my first tears of this deployment. But now the countdown to him being home has started again and in due time he will be home again with us. All I ask for is him to be safe and come home safe and sound to us!!
Checking out what was going on.
Lots of lovin that night!
love.
bahah Ella looks crazy!
Hanging out at the van, waiting...
My brother and the girls in the van watching some movies
I miss him.
The buses arriving...I hate when their coming towards us empty...only means one thing...
Its hard being a Military wife but you are stronger than most. You give me hope for when my husband deploys and I am left alone with 3 kids, I can imagine but am sad thinking about it. I love this post and how well you captured the "see you later" moments. This summer and year will pass soon enough. PLEASE come and visit and let our kids play as much as you want. It'd be nice to talk to another Mom-Tog! :)
