HONEY, WE GOT ORDERS!!!

Yep!!! You definitely read the title right!!! After almost 3 full enlistments at Camp Lejeune we will finally be leaving here. 

Are y'all ready to know where???....

(Please excuse my children...this is after the air show/temper tantrums and HOT weather) lol

So there it is folks, were moving to CALIFORNIA!!!!!

Jimmy told me today these orders are 100% definite. He won't have the orders in his hands until July, because they can't release them to him until then.

Your all probably wondering how I/we feel about this, and how it came down to California, so here it is...

Ok, so as you all know, we wanted non-deployable orders, and we wanted them for Virginia. 

Well a few days ago the Monitor told Jimmy that we could have Virginia, but then minutes later, yanked them right from us because Jimmy is in Afghanistan and they need some one in Virginia in 3 months, there was no way to get him home and to VA in 3 months. So he gave him another option...non-deployable in California at Camp Pendleton.

I have this list...My "I don't to go until after 2012"list(pathetic) I know! lol But California is #2 on there, Japan being #1!! LMAO!!

Well after a few minutes of Jimmy and I going back and forth with the idea of moving to California, we decided to take it.

After all my best friend is moving there in 2 weeks, and I have some friends out there, Jimmy will be non-deployable for 2 years and sooner or later we would have to go out there anyway. So why not now while we have our best friends out there.

We will be moving there in January!! 

That's why we don't have orders in hand yet, because they can't release them to us until 6 months out.

I have never been to California. The furthest west i've been is Oklahoma/Texas.

I'm not going to lie, I am nervous, but every day I get more excited about it.

It's going to be a big time crunch when Jimmy comes home. Were going to be dealing with all the excitement of him returning home, then were gonna have to get ready for our cross country trip.

So there it is!!

The Smith Family will be moving cross country!!
