DAY 5

A picture of your favorite memory
This was a hard one for me! I've have MANY favorite memories through out my almost 25 years on Earth, but my fondest, proudest, most joyful memories are four separate occasions.
In order of events....
The first time I laid eyes on my first born & became a Mother for the first time.
Audrianna Nevaeh. We welcomed Audrianna into this World on May 4th 2006 weighing 8lbs 7oz! After being 2 weeks late and a failed attempt at an induction 2 weeks prior, I knew she would come when she was ready. Sure enough a day before her last (eviction notice) induction, I went into labor on my own. I had the best labor and delivery with her, no issues, everything went smooth! After 10 hours of labor and 15 minutes of pushing, Jimmy and I became parents for the first time. It was amazing to say the least. She has changed our lives tremendously and have been the proudest parents since. She is now in school, almost 5 years old and very smart.
Time flies by way too fast!!
The day I married my Best Friend
Jimmy and I were married on September 24th 2006 in a gorgeous Garden in New York. It was amazing. We had just a small intimate wedding with family and some close friends. Its a day I will never forget! We had already welcomed our first child into the World just four months before. I never would have imagined getting married at the age of 20 and also having a 4 month old daughter at the time, but I would have it no other way! Seeing I got pregnant before our wedding, we decided to hold off and wait until after we had to baby to get married, and we are so glad we did! We are about to hit our 5th year wedding anniversary and it still seems so unreal that its been 5 years already!Meeting our second child for the first time.
Ella Scarlett. We welcomed Ella into the world on November 4th 2007. She weighed in at 8lbs 14.5oz! We really thought she would be like her sister and stay in for an additional 2 weeks or so but she decided to come on her own just 4 days after her due date! I had a pretty rough delivery with Ella. I was only in labor for 4 hours until it was time to push, that's when we ran into some problems. Ella's shoulders were a little too wide and she decided to put her arm straight out and became stuck. Within seconds her heart rate dropped, alarms were going off, doctors and nurses were scrambling, you could feel panic in the air. They pushed Jimmy and my Mother out of the way, a doctor jumped on top of me and started to push on my stomach while 2 doctors tried to get Ella out. The whole L&D room was filled with doctors and nurses, it was horrifying! They kept telling me that she may have a broken arm or shoulder from all of it, I was scared! Who wants to hear something like that? After a few minutes they got her out, she was silent. Finally after a few minutes I heard her cry. Thank GOD!! She was fine! No broken bones, nothing! Just perfection. Here we are now, 3 years later and our Ella is still doing amazing! She's a little pistol and a smarty pants!!
The first time meeting our third child.
Paisley Eva.We welcomed Paisley into the world on October 23rd 2009! She was my smallest baby weighing 7lbs 8oz! She was also my first baby to come before her due date! What a relief, right?! For weeks, I was dilated 2-3cms. Finally at 38 weeks, I was 5cm and ONE doctor out of the many we have here at the Naval Hospital thought it was a good idea to admit me and be safe and have the baby then, because she didn't want me going into full blown labor at home and delivering the baby there or in the car. I had a rough delivery with her too, not so traumatic as Ella's but this was more painful! After only 6 hours of labor, which was becoming very rough towards the end, it was time to push. It hurt like hell! They kept telling me it was normal, but I refused to agree with them, seeing I had two children already naturally and knew it was not my "normal"! Sure enough after 10 extremely painful minutes of pushing Paisley came out "Sunny side up" Her forehead was bruised and some hair was pulled off the top of her head from scrapping on my pelvic bone! The doctors just looked at me and knew they should have listened to their patient, like their supposed to! Now Paisley is a ONE year old who is such a joy! She's another smarty pants and I know I will have my hands full with her!!

speechless, you have a beautiful family and life.
