WE ARE HALFWAY DONE!!!!!
I can not believe we are already over the hump!!
This has been one of the hardest deployments on me mentally and physically with the kids.
The girl's have not adjusted to daddy being gone at all. They have turned into a whole 'nother breed since Jimmy left. I think because he has been coming and going so often the past few years that they are just tired of it, as am I.
Deployments are hard regardless, I have been through really bad combat deployment with Jimmy and that's hard but this one is like my own war at home.
BUT....
We are halfway done and this is when the time really starts to fly with all the preparations for homecoming. Not only homecoming, but we have a big move to California also coming up and there is still LOTS to be done at home to prepare for that! My goal is to have my whole house de-cluttered and organized by the time Jimmy comes home. I want to go through every little inch of our house and throw away any and everything we haven't touched or used in years that we will not need. I want to start fresh in Cali. I want it all done and ready by the time Jimmy comes home so we have more time to relax and get back to our family rather then worrying about the move!
On another note...we have been up north for a little over a month now! Which is crazy because it feels like we just got up here! I'm not complaining at all! We have done so much and seen so many people since we have been here. We've been on a couple small vacations, been to a lot of parties and relaxed!
I am still unsure of a date when we will be heading back down to NC. I have to be back before Audrianna starts school, so we will definitely be heading back soon! There's still a few more things that I want to do and need to get done before I leave here!
See you soon Baby!!!
