Oh, Sweet Summer Memories. Part I

Summer 2011 is practically over now!!!
Can we say....THANK FRIGGIN GOD??!!!

The girls and I had a great summer!
I have so many people to thank for that!

Since we were up north for the summer and constantly on the go I wasn't really able to post many photos and tell everyone about our adventures!
I wanted to make this summer enjoyable and memorable for the girls. Since the past two summers we've been going through deployments they hadn't had a real "Summer" in over 2 years.

So here it goes from the start up until now!

June
In the beginning of June my friend Tara and her daughter Bella came down from New York and spent two weeks with us! It was awesome to have them here! Tara helped me out beyond words and the girls really enjoyed having Bella around!
We spent a lot of time at the beach and even took a trip to the aquarium!
Tara- I just want to say Thank You so much for coming down and spending time with us. I am so appreciative of you, you cleaned my house cooked dinners and you were there for me to talk to. I never get much adult conversations when I'm home. We really enjoyed having you guys here! Thanks again!

Yey!! She did it!! I can see it 13 years from now in a cap and gown graduation from high school :(

She LOVED her teacher, Ms. Valerie

She looks just thrilled, huh? LOL

We spent our time in NY and PA.
While being up there I was able to attend my cousin Christina's wedding!!
Congratulations Mr.&Mrs.Fratto!!

Can you tell Ella was just a tad excited?!

Paisley's first Lake encounter!! Took her a few to get used to it!

I also got to spend some time with one of my BEST friends of almost 20 years!! & her son Caden!! She lives in Pittsburgh PA and with me living down in NC we rarely ever get to see each other, so this was a great treat to all of us and the kids!!

The girls also had a play date at Aunt Jo's house

July
July was EXTREMELY busy for us!! We did lots of fun stuff and had lots of parties to attend!
I sadly can not find one of my memory cards with our 4th of July photos on it, but im hoping soon it will pop up some where!

Our first adventure in July was to Knoebels!
We went with my Mom, Sister, Aunt Lisa, and cousins Nicole and Brian!
We all had a GREAT time!!!
First ride of the day.
Audri looks scared here LOL
bahahaha.
Two thumbs up. Guess she like the ride after all!
My two favorites...Pierogies and Potato Pancakes! BEST park EVER!!

Aunt Lisa and Ella
"Mom, take a picture of me with these Marines, cause you know my Dad's a Marine too" LOL
Lots of games.
My babes and I <3
Ella was a CHAMP! She wanted to go on ALL the big kid rides, even the log flumes!  She LOVED it!!
I will have more up from Knoebels on Facebook soon!

Another AMAZING adventure I had was, the Luke Bryan, The Band Perry and Tim McGraw concert!!
Can we say AMAZING?!!!
To make it even better, it was a Girls night, and we had lawn seats! Well we ended up staying in the parking lot a little late(tailgating)to get a good spot on the lawn. By the time we got to the lawn we were sooo far back that we couldn't even see the stage. But we all were a little "tipsy" to care, as long as we heard Timmy singing we were golden!
UNTIL, what we think was a promoter or something came up to the five of us...
She asked how many were in our group, and said "Here's 5 wristbands, were inviting you to the stage, WALK do NOT run there, and no screaming" bahahah YEA RIGHT?!!
We got to the STAGE!!!
We were literally INCHES, I repeat INCHES away from my man Tim!!!!
Not gonna lie, I was drunk and living that moment UP!! I screamed pretty much the whole night!!
Tim even got to "see" Jimmy!!
There's a song Tim sings called "Indian Outlaw" Well he sings about the Indian Tribe called the Choctaws, which happens to be Jimmys tribe! So being the emotional drunk I was I whipped out my phone and put it up to Tim and said "This is my husband, he's a choctaw Indian" and the picture was of Jimmy in his blues...Tim took it to his heart and smiled!! I melted!!!
Missy, Lisa, Stephanie and Chelsea-Thank You all for that amazing night!! I love you guys so much!!!
Chelsea and I on the way to Bethel
Missy and I

Lisa, Stephanie, Missy, Chelsea, Stacey and myself!
Chelsea and I, we were REALLY far back! This is right before we got the wrist bands!!!
Standing RIGHT in front of me!!
Yeaaaaaaa!!!!
Yep, the cowboy hat lit up!! I looked wasted...i was lol
Yummmm, Luke Bryan<3
Luke and Tim singing!!
The Band Perry singing with Tim

One of Tim's guitarists took Missy's hat and wore it LOL. Just in case you were wondering why their wearing "Hippie" clothes, its because where this concert is, is where the original Woodstock '69 was!
The wristband!!!
